For me art and anatomy create an intersection of intrigue and inspiration. It is here in this unique connection that I am engaged in life, both as an Artist and as a Nurse. Watercolour has always been my first love in painting, and I have been creating paintings with muse and the magic of watercolour for most of my life. In 2015, I decided to follow my dreams, to attain a formal art education at Georgian College. It was during this time that I began to use many different mediums to paint, draw and sculpt with. That experience was amazing, and it propelled my work to the next level. I graduated with honors from the Fine Arts Advanced Program. In 2018, I had the privilege to have an exhibition at the MacLaren Art Centre in Barrie.
As a multi-disciplined artist I express myself in many different mediums. I often enjoy working in opposite mediums, and find it stimulates my creative process. I paint in Oil, Acrylic, Watercolour, Watercolour Media, Gouache, and also sculpt in wax, wood, clay and plaster.
Recently, I have been creating works that were juried and chosen for the Orangeville Public Art Program. I created two large murals (10’ x16’) and three utility box covers. You can see them under my “Public Art Tab”, there you will also see the concepts, ideas, and the locations that you see them in person.
Due to covid, Galleries were mostly closed, however online opportunities presented themselves, and two of my works were selected and featured online!
I also make and sell cards featuring my art works. They are available to purchase, they are a perfect way to send someone a unique special greeting! Cards will be available soon in person or online.
Available also are Giclee prints of most of my works. This is a great way to collect my art, and priced reasonably. You can message me about purchases through [email protected], payment can only be accepted in the form of an e-transfer.
